He is, I'll still be living with my mother when I am 40 because I will be spending all my money on games EK convinces me to buy.

In the grand scheme of things, basement dwelling introvert gamer is far from the worst way to spend your time.

I mean, you could be out there protesting with home-made shields and tiki-torches, chanting about refusing to be replaced by 'the jews', and pretending that Civil War monuments erected during the Jim Crow era were anything but a cultural 'fuck you' to black people looking to vote and not be lynched by angry mobs. Or, you know, just vote Republican.

Me? I'd rather take over the galaxy in Space Pirates & Zombies 2.

Or experience the tragic tale of anti-hero Jackie Estacado in The Darkness II.

Or listen to Jennifer Hale nail all the dialogue in Mass Effect 2 & 3 for the umpteenth time.

Or gain a few more perk levels destroying waves of Zeds in Killing Floor 2.

Or go impromptu tobogganing with a cardboard box in Metal Gear Solid V.

Or go cavorting all over the place on various motorcycles in GTA: Online.

(also, add Destiny 2 and Monster Hunter World to that list when they finally come out on PC)

That is so asinine and stupid on so many levels, I literally do not even know where to start.

Please, go back to bitching about how Obama was the worst thing since sliced bread over in the Politics section.

RE: What are you playing?
Divinity Original Sin 2. Since they finally released the full version (or at least I think it's the full version, I just had a 15g update and considering the game only took 15g space up anyway I assume it's now the full version). I've had it in my steam for ages but it's only been early release.
The first one was pretty good I thought. It has a lot of really really cool features that a lot of games, particularly RPGs, don't have. Lots of interacting with the world and exploring and very little hand-holding. The character creation/building is really good. Number 2 is a great improvement on number 1 too. I think the stories better for starters.
There's just so much to do and it's proper fucking hard, you really gotta plan shit out. I dunno, it's just a really engrossing great RPG. Number 1, I'd say things like Tyranny and Dragon Age and whatever are better. But number 2 is definitely one of the best rpg's I've ever played.
