I enjoy it! I like RPGs. Once there's nothing to do i.e. no quests left, then I do get bored of them.

When the heck is there never anything to do in Skyrim? With all the DLCs isn't it around 2000 quests??

Meh. It seems really outdated. I wish it was baldurs gate. That game was fantastic. I miss it tremendously.

Are you aware someone just released an updated version of BG that's available on Steam? I'm not sure if they plan to port it to a console (how would that even work?). You should Google "Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition" (and also BG2:EE).

It's a role-playing game, if you can't get yourself into that kind of headspace, you're going to get much less out of the experience.

My last Skyrim character was a female Nord hunter (Light Armor, Sneak, One-Handed, Archery), and I spent far more time traipsing across the tundra hunting Caribou and (eventually) Mammoths and Dragons than I did pursuing the main quest. I got far enough in to get access to Thu'um and then wen't off on my own. I was an explorer, a stalker, a bounty hunter, and a monster slayer; and I was having so much fun doing that I forgot all about being the 'destined savior'. Tongue

Fucking seriously, if the next Fallout uses the Skyrim engine and takes place in the north eastern united states (as it seems is most likely with mentions of the Commonwealth in the latest leak of information), I'm going to spend all of my time scrounging for ammo and hunting giant irradiated bears... er... I mean, 'yao-gui'...

Yea there's a lot of quests but.... I ended up pretty much completing 90% of them :\

yabut, 1) my cpu overheats on my pc, 2) my pc needs an upgrade anyway, 3) I'm gonna be traveling in 2015 and a console is just far easier to lug around because who needs to see the sights when you can sit in your hotel room playing play station amirite?

Perhaps, but have you considered this:

You can also play on a laptop in your hotel...and at the airport...on the bus...on a beach (I wouldn't but you could)...on the plane...at a cafe...etc.

Not with my laptop.
It plays some games great, but it can't play things like bf4.
