I picked up Watch Dogs 2 weeks ago I think. Picked up last years Tomb Raider on Friday. I'm enjoying Tomb Raider more.

RE: What are you playing?
Hello. Smile

I am happily playing "Kerbal Space Program".

This is a game where you build rockets out of available components payed for by doing 'science' which allows for the unlocking of newer, bigger, better parts with which to go farther and do moar 'science'.

The game itself is in version 2.4... which has added another layer of complexity with the game concept of 'money'. I'm... happy to just keep working on the 'science' side of things as a cost for now. Blush

By looking at some of the previous from reviewers on Youtube... there are even bigger, better and badder additions coming to the game. Big Grin

So... my developments so far.

Having done enough science.. I unlocked wheels. With these I built this.

I then built a rocket with enough power to launch said vehicle into orbit and thence to the Mun. Big Grin

Of course... wheels are no good for landing.. So I built another rocket and launched a 'Skycrane' with which to land said 'Trundle-saurus'.

http://postimg.org/image/bnbbrkl75/ (Mun orbit)

http://postimg.org/image/laujh0gux/ (Landed on Mun)

Said vehicle then rolled about and I gathered a lot of 'science'. Unlocked new parts... And learned a LOT about how vehicles handle in regards to center of mass and things like 'stability' and such.

Needles to say.... I built a new rover... a better one. a bigger one! Big Grin

So... returning the crew of the old rover back to Kerbin was an interesting exercise in logistics.

http://postimg.org/image/8rp5439d7/ (Crew awaiting pick up)

Where in they were debriefed (As in all their collected science was used to buy more parts) and the new rover put on a new rocket, sent to the Mun along with its own skycrane and this time I aimed for an 'anomaly' (A kind of 'Easter egg' of which many are scattered all over the planets of the game's solar system)

http://postimg.org/image/n32xcjk09/ (Full crew shot with bigger rover in back ground)

http://postimg.org/image/nqhnsx8v7/ (Same rover.. crew hasn't moved. Camera panned back to show the mysterious 'Mun arch'.....)

Now, said rover will speed about and collect even MAOR science, with which to unlock bigger and better parts to...um... you get the idea. Blush

Much cheers to all.

I didn't enjoy watch dogs enough to even play it for an hour. That being said, I played about 20 minutes of tomb raider, and it was basically one giant button mashing sequence. If you can tell me the game gets better, I might try it again.

If you're talking about the Square Enix-published reboot, it gets WAY better. The button mashing sequences were in all the games as I recall (remember the first T Rex fight....run, run, run, DODGE NOW OR DIE!). Same principle, and just as brief and unintrusive as before.

Too bad I was never remotely creative enough to build things like that.

And that all my rockets and such were deleted because KSP's money update essentially wrecked my career file and I just don't have it in my to restart.

Though I did, in my old Career file, manage to get the the KSP equivalent of Mars with a rover; my immediate thought was to use a tiny but effective skycrane; but I never used the clamp systems... Never quite figured them out. Instead I inverted a stack decoupler.

Out of curiosity, did you ever change your Rover's controls? I can tell you from experience, those things are a lot easier to drive around when you alter wheel keys to unoccupied keys, as opposed to default keys.

You can actually just go into the program and adjust one or two simple lines with notebook++ and you'll have your old science game back with the option of either going back to sand-box or onto the money scheme. Check out the forums, I asked the exact same question and got the answer within a day or so. Smile

Hope that helps get you back into the game. Big Grin

Oh, clever. To use the little (Or big, when you get them) clamps you just left click on the things (They glow a soft blue) and you get a little kind of drop down menu. You can decouple, 'Control from here' and a few other things.

Ah... stack de-couplers... is there nothing they can't help you do. Big Grin

My next big plan is to go inwards. To THE SUN! XD

Just the couple of probes I've managed to get in close shows me the ridonculous amount of fuel/DV I'm going to need to get in to Moho and such. Tongue

Hmmm... nope. Am pretty much just still mashing the 'wasd' keys and slaloming around on the Mun. Tongue

Best of luck adjusting things. Hope you have fun again with your game. Go looking, maybe, at Scott Manly's vids. Some of the new parts which might be going out in version 2.5 look frikkin' awesome. (Assuming they become legit pieces and not just gamer mods)

Much cheers to all.
