What are your plans for New Year's Eve?
I was going to be spending the night at a "haunted" inn and having a 5-course dinner, however those plans fell through. So now I need to figure something else out fairly quickly due to places booking up etc. So anyone have any ideas for New Year's? How are you going to be spending your New Year's Eve this year?

I usually stay home, watch a movie, and eat snacks.
If I go out, it is very close by or I'm staying over. It's amateur night out there, folks. Shocking

Usually just something low key with friends. Nothing is finalized yet.

Quiet evening at home with the family. Snacks, movies, games.

By the time New Years comes around I'm real tired of holiday's in general so I don't do much. The holidays starts with Halloween on Oct 31st and ends two months later.

I've always wished the new year would start on the Spring equinox. I guess that would be weird though.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

I've been thinking of a few ideas. There is a Napa wine train that sounds interesting. You have dinner on the train while it travels through wine country and then afterwards there is a gala and champagne toast.

I'm also thinking of possibly throwing a party.

I've been wanting to do this kayak trip to watch the fireworks at midnight since I moved here, but no one will go with me Sad

Hubby works, so just before midnight (his quit time), I don my apron, put some treats in the oven and pop the champagne. When he gets home, he's greeted with a smile, a snack and beverage.

It sucks that he has to work and NYE, isn't counted as a holiday, so it's not like he gets paid more or anything. Plus his work has restrictions on taking time off that week. Dodgy
