There isn't even an explaination for what Karma actually is, made of, what controls it or how it even works exactly. It's just a word made up by idiots who think that bad things happen to bad people because bad things happen or whatever...you know what I mean.

It's all bullshit.

Not so much that god had anything to do with it, but that the universe had a way of making things work out. You do good things and you get good karma, you do bad things and you get bad karma. But as a new free thinker I'm not really sure if I still look at karma that way, or if i still believe in it. Sometimes we get correlation, causation, and coincidences mixed up. My family always taught me that you reap what you sow. I'd love to hear some of your thoughts and views on karma to learn something new!

My initial thought was to respond that if a belief or concept posits that the universe in some way cares about you or anything else, it is bunk.
I'm sticking with it.

That said, not only is Karma bunk, it's also potentially harmful in that it encourages the adoption of victim blaming when taken to its logical ends; since bad karma comes back around to bite you in the ass, (by definition,) you must have done something to deserve what happened, whatever that may have been.
