RE: What can I ask this Mormon?
Listen very carefully to this person's answers. You may find them continually making statements that are obviously regurgitated from the LDS education system and or a lifetime of indoctrination. If you do then politely stop them and stress that they answer from their own view, not the church's official position. If they admit to taking their beliefs as marching orders from the church's official statements, ask them why.

As a former Mormon myself, I promise you this vein of questioning is key.

Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, just as it is the spirit of a spiritless situation. The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is required for their real happiness.

That reminds me of another thing to ask:

Ask him why it is that all of the Mormon "revelations" on civil rights issues are always about ten years behind public opinion. If God is leading the charge here, why is he always ten years behind what people have already decided? Is this like a speed of light thing in terms of how fast prayers travel?

Or is it just a bunch of stubborn, backward people finally realizing they have to get on board lest their cult begin to shrink?

Part of me looks forward to the revelations that are bound to happen within a decade of gay marriage being legalized nation-wide, but I'm actually not so sure about those. That topic is a sex topic, and Mormons are even weirder about sex than other Christians. It's like some kind of a double-sin, or something.

I would ask why does Utah lead the nation in online porn subscriptions?

What the hell's that all about, Mr, butter wouldn't melt in your mouth, Mormon. Hummm? Dodgy

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Only men are allowed to do certain things in the church (leader) and only women are allowed to do other things in the church (leaf groups). I asked, don't you think that's sexist? What if you wanted to be part of a leaf group, wouldn't you feel that's unfair that you couldn't join just because you were born a man? His justification was no because men can only do certain things just like women can only do certain things.

"Nuh uh! It's not sexist. Women get to be all subservient and shit. Let's see a guy try to do that."

*stupidly smug grin*
