Caesar Cardini

It was said to have been invented at his Caesar Hotel in Tijuana.

Been there, had the salad. It was one of the last meals I had with my father before he died.

So far I'm only with slavery, war, racism, addictions, pedophilia and incest.

What would you add?

Marital rape, kidnapping, acts of genocide that are not murder (aka, stealing babies away from native families and fostering them with white people in an attempt to kill the culture off), egalitarianism.... well, okay, I'll spot that one to Jesus even if the parables fuzzy it up some.... torture, mutilation, climate change, and some way for us to tell divine instruction apart from mental illness so that when schizophrenic-delusional people hear voices telling them to go torch a bunch of buildings, THEY KNOW BETTER.

Homosexuality and rape both come to mind.

Regarding homosexuality, Leviticus and Paul seem real clear on the matter, but it seemed to escape Jesus' mind. So, is it not really a big deal to him? Who knows! He's not telling!

Regarding rape, I suppose you could say it's implicitly covered in the whole "love your neighbor as yourself" thing. My beef with that one is more of how it's handled in the Old Testament (i.e. not at all for a while, then later, the woman is forced to marry her rapist. As far as I can tell in this setup, the real victim was probably considered to be her father. Sheesh).

Oh Snap!

That the entire world isn't made up of angels and demons that are responsible for illnesses, mental illness, disease, uh, everything that now we know has nothing to do with demons but is caused by human biology.

The morality of: Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Masturbation, um, not necessarily in that order. Not sure why I capitalized masturbation. Er, uh, ok bye....

Don't sell yourself short Judge, you're an incredible slouch.

RE: What did Jesus forget to talk about?
Actually, there were several attempts at printing presses (well, stamps) in classical times. The idea itself was pretty basic. The Greeks were experimenting with the idea of movable type.... at 800 BCE, I think... using stone. The problem was that there wasn't a widespread paper industry to make it usable, standards and measures with such precision as to make it workable, a market to make it practical, or the widespread literacy to make it worthwhile. Simply showing them the design for the printing press wouldn't have worked.

.... making an indestructible box that magically produced Bibles from, say, the equivalent mass of rock and sand, without copy errors, in the language of the person using it, and which kept working forever. THAT would have been handy.

Well, yeah. But seeing that requires an imagination, because once you find magic as an acceptable answer (Worldwide flood! Crossing the Red Sea! Immaculate conception! Water to wine! Fishes and loaves!), then the sky is the fucking limit! In light of all of that other crazy shit, a magical (one might even say miraculous) box that produced perfectly understandable and unalterable scripture that contained real verifiable truth that stood up to scrutiny?

Yeah, that was just 'one bridge too far' for Jebus it seems... Weeping

He could have explained germ theory and saved billions of lives. "And the Lord sayeth boil thy water and thou shalt not getteth sicketh."
