RE: What did you eat today?
Homemade chicken schnitzel with pan fried potatoes and a cucumber salad. Afterwards I built a fire in the fire pit on the patio, and we enjoyed the cooler weather by the fire for a while. I started the fire survivor man style with a spark into a piece of char cloth I made this afternoon and a tinder bundle of unraveled jute twine.

RE: What did you eat today?
Went with my wife to our favorite Italian place. She had stuffed shells, I had the chicken breast sauteed in mushrooms and garlic, with a tomato sauce. So good! I was stuffed. Had a piece of chicken breast about the size of my thumb and heaping helping of baby yellow patty pan squash from the local farmer's market. I was going to grill the squash, but it's threatening (a welcome) rain here in SoCal.

RE: What did you eat today?
I'm at my sister's so I'm eating well.

Lunch was aged cheddar cheese, smoked cheddar cheese, kalamata olives, prosciutto, crackers, and a dark un-beer.

Dinner was Alfred's Chicken on rice pilaf, broccoli, and an un-beer. Dessert was maple sugar tarts. Drooling

N.B. Alfred's Chicken is not Chicken Alfredo. No
It is chicken cooked in a casserole dish with butter, chopped onions, and sliced mushrooms.

I went grocery shopping hungry (always a bad idea), straight after work. I bought freshly baked apple fritters. They did not survive for long.

I believe I mentioned this before, but if you go shopping while hungry start in the produce section.

I licked the whisk and bowl that my sister used to make the fudge frosting for the Boston Cram Pie. Drooling
