What did you eat today?

I can't have any solid food until after tomorrow's procedure, so all I can think about is food. Weeping

Hmmm, maybe this should be in the Ranting Corner.

It's a look-see and maybe a biopsy. We'll see.

Nothing too special tonight but tomorrow I'm making pizza.

We're using cauliflower and mozzarella for the the crust. My husband is having pepperoni and I'm having one with bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, and spinach. Big Grin

I went out for Chinese food today: Chicken with Broccoli and Brown Rice with a shrimp egg roll on the side. Green Tea for a beverage. Smile

RE: What did you eat today?
Mrs made up a spaget using zuchinni for the noodles, an oinion, sauteed in avocado oil. We had cooked down a quart of home canned tomatoes to a sauce. Used half of that. Some italian seasoning. 8 ounces of cooked ground turkey. 1 ounce of pecorino romano.
Two servings @ 478 calories each.
Next time we will reduce the turkey and increase the zucinni.
It's the first thing we have cooked in months, and damn it was good.

What did you eat today?
Tonight I cut up some cube steak and browned it in my iron frying pan. I made some brown gravy and made it more savory with a dollop of Vegemite. I cooked the gravy down and then poured it over the meat to simmer together for a bit.

Meanwhile I cooked some rice and stir fried some brussel sprouts.

Everyone gobbled it up.
