Ugh still feel like shit from my period. Sad So just had latte and some lunch--which was a tofu red curry and a Venti Passion Iced Tea (unsweetened) from Starbucks.

RE: What did you eat today?
Yum yum! Today I made homemade pimento cheese using the first pimento peppers in my garden and my grandmother's recipe. Well, mostly my grandmother's recipe. I am a Miracle Whip girl. She was strictly mayo.

Where are we going and why am I in this hand basket?

I found another interesting fruit to try at the store. This one is called a dragon fruit. Ever have it?

I hope you bought that and give us a review! What part of the world did it come from?

I have dragon peppers in my garden this year. They are brutal. Be careful.

Yes, I bought it Big Grin It's pretty good--but I'm not sure I had the ripest one. It's not overly sweet--the taste is more mild. No pit. I sliced it in half and then just easily scooped out the inside and ate it with a spoon. I'm going to get another one and let it ripen a bit more. But the color of the fruit is an amazing hot pink. It is grown in Mexico, Israel, Southeast Asia, and Central and South America.

I don't think it was necessarily unripe. That's pretty much the experience I had with them a few times in Nevada when I tried them. They look really cool, and they're certainly not bad, but they're basically like big overpriced kiwi with less favour. So, once I got over the novelty, I just went back to kiwi Tongue
