RE: What do you say to a sneeze
I only acknowledge the second sneeze.

"Do not get me sick"

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

That's why I bury my nose in my elbow.

According to Mythbusters, that's the best way to go.

I naturally still say it, although it annoys me each time I do. I've tried 'Gesundheit', but it's not exactly natural off of my tongue lol, and my kids can't say ti well. I guess I could go with 'Good health', but that still feels awkward. So, out of curiosity, what do you say? Do you just still stick with 'God bless you', or have you figured out another good manners term?

Thanks!
Why make a deal of someone sneezing? Why say anything at all?
I find it really odd if someone says "bless you" or "Gesundheit" or anything.

I don't talk to sneezes.

Don't let those gnomes and their illusions get you down. They're just gnomes and illusions.

I don't say anything, like people in many parts of the world. There's just no point~.

Our household has chosen not to say anything the past couple years.
A real (second) relief actually.

You have to be odd to be #1.

"Oh dude, I think a bit of your brain just came out....."

I mean they sneezed, why should anyone feel compelled to say anything? I sneeze all the fucking time, I'm allergic to cats, I'm allergic to plants, I'm allergic to stupid people. I'm always fucking sneezing, if you say something to me every time it happens I'm kinda just gonna get annoyed after a while.

RE: What do you say to a sneeze
There's a woman at work who thinks every sneeze requires a full 'God bless you'. This gets pretty annoying when someone in the office has a sneezing fit...she must fully bless each and every one. Dodgy
