The work in the museum here is a portrait of an art dealer, Reid, I think the name of the dealer is.

I have a reproduction of Starry Night and one of Cafe' Terrace at Night that hangs in the kitchen. I am most fond of his blue period.

He is my favorite artist from that time.

I'm not anti-social. I'm pro-solitude. Sleepy

Portrait of the Art Dealer Alexander Reid - there are a couple of versions of that - one is a full life portrait of Reid sitting in an overstuffed chair. The other is standard bust view. He's very well dressed, and reminds me of the actor Bob Balaban... only with reddish hair and no glasses. Shy

I loved that episode of "Doctor Who" too; Very deep, very emotional.
However I've never understood Van Gogh's popularity. It seems cult-ish almost. His paintings are unremarkable. If done by an unknown artist - they would be considered worthless and unimpressive. The only reason they have value is because they were made by a famous artist with a following - not because of the artwork itself.

Uh... hum. Curious, upon what information do you base this claim? Shy
