What does you name "mean"?
What does you first-name mean? What the history of it and does your name have traits; does these traits fit you?
I'll go first:

Even

Nameday: 8/26

Even is a newer form of Eivind, pieced together by Old Norse words for luck and figher or warrior. The name has been knowned since the 1400 century.

Traits: Even is precise and hard-working. He likes to work with details, that means work that needs accuracy. He's a family-person and feels safe around few, but good firends.

Some of these traits do fit me, but the part about family might not be right, and the part about hard-working depends on the situation.

Andrew

Andrew is the English form of a given name and surname common in many countries. ‘Andrew’ is a common name in English-speaking countries. In the 1990s it was among the top ten most popular names for boys in those countries. In Italian, the equivalent to "Andrew" is "Andrea", though "Andrea" is feminine in most other languages. Andrew is frequently shortened to "Andy" or "Drew".
The word is derived from the Greek: Ανδρέας, Andreas, itself related to Ancient Greek: ἀνήρ/ἀνδρός aner/andros, "man" (as opposed to "woman"), thus meaning "manly" and, as consequence, "strong", "courageous", and "warrior". In the King James Bible, the Greek "Ἀνδρέας" is translated as Andrew.

RE: What does you name "mean"?
My friends and family call me by my middle name, Aaron, but my 1st name is Woodrow.

Woodrow
Was originally an English surname that may derive from a place name meaning row of houses by a wood in Old English.

My dad's name is Woody, my grandfather's name was Woodrow, my great-grandfather was named Woody, his father Woodrow, & it's alternated like that going back to the bronze age or some bullshit Dodgy

Back in the day me & my dad had nicknames!
My dad is 6'1", 220 lbs of half man-half grizzly bear! I'm not that big.
So dad, Woody, was "Big Woody", and I, Woodrow, was "Lil' Woody".......
"Little Woody" ...... Dodgy

"Keep teasing me, mo-foh's! I'll streak the Christmas play, you don't shut up!!"

Tongue

I don't like my name. It's too common, and it's ironic given that I'm far from being what my name describes.

If something can be destroyed by the truth, it might be worth destroying.

Anges

Angel in French. I was named after a great-grandmother.

Not sure that it fits all that well but I loved that grandmother!

My (maiden) last name means Friday in German.

I'm not anti-social. I'm pro-solitude. Sleepy

Robert - the famed bright shining one. ... But please, just call me Bob. Tongue

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

My name is Jim. This is usually considered an abridged version of James (although this is not my legal name). I believe James shares the same root word with Jacob, which means the "supplanter." This is connected to the story of Jacob stealing Esau's blessing from Isaac (Gen:27:30).
