Revenant, you lost me here. Are you responding to my post or are you simply making a general statement?

I was just making a general statement and forgot to clear the quotes.

"Look at the trees"

Any Nature or something being a product from God argument. It's just awful in everyway whole being hilarious.

As if something would be identifiably different from God made, if it made everything.

RE: What is the worst argument for God?
One of the things that bothered me at the end of my theist days was the notion that two people could be born into two completely different environments, and be judged by God by the same standard. In other words; a person born into an abusive, violent home would be judged by God just as if he were born into a quaint, loving family.

I had much the same philosophical problem with the scenario of two people with different brain chemistry being judged by God using identical standard. One person might be schizophrenic while another person is mentally healthy, yet God judges them by the same yardstick. Ironically, I recently heard on a TV ministry a pastor declaring that "God does not grade on the curve". Of course it would make more sense if he did... not that that would be highly logical either.

I like noahs flood.

All the rock layers and animals that became fossils, were formed from the flood

Then 40 days later as the water retreated, the newly created rock layers (with fossils) were cut away forming the valleys (eg grand canyon)

RE: What is the worst argument for God?
The ontological arguments.

They are, to a one, based on an equivocation fallacy, an obvious one. The argument relies solely on the "baffle them with bullshit" technique, hiding the glaring flaw well enough that most people can't name it, even though they know it's there. No one has ever been convinced by the ontological argument. But if you already believe, you can convince yourself, "This doesn't make any sense, but I guess that's just because I'm not smart enough to understand it."

E 2 = (mc 2)2 + (pc )2
614C → 714N + e + ̅νe
2 K(s) + 2 H2O(l) → 2 KOH(aq) + H2 (g) + 196 kJ/mol
It works, bitches.

The no argument argument.

Me: How do you know god is real?
Fucktard theist: Because he IS real.

Emphasizing certain words doesn't make it fact!!

"I had laid down to go to bed one night, starting to doze off, then all of a sudden...there He was....in full body...shining in a light I had never seen before...super bright, brilliant and yet it did not hurt my eyes."

I can't make this shit up.

RE: What is the worst argument for God?
The strange denial a theist lives in, on a random atheist's behalf.

theist: I have faith.
me: That's nice, I don't.
theist: Oh but, yes you do.
me: No, I do not, it is irrelevant to my life.
theist: You have to have faith to live and be happy.
me: Never had faith and I've always been relatively happy.
theist: Why, that's just not true.
me: Uh... seriously?
