RE: What is your latest first world problem ?
I spent Sunday afternoon installing a garage door opener.

It appears that it is incompatible with the built-in remote in my car. Weeping

Watched a debate with Peter Hitchens. Depressed that's the only Hitchens left.

Left the keys in the ignition and in the 'on' position on my bike, killed the battery. Quick jumping it made me 15 minutes late to work. Needed to get another jump start to get back home.

Bought a new dog bowl. It has a huge sticker in the bottom with product info. I can't get the damn thing off! It is now a big mess of glue and paper. Why, oh why do they do this? There are other ways to make things stick - ways that let you peel it off!

You can probably just change the frequency to match or whatever.

Try soaking it in warm water.

All three new job offers pay approx. the same and slightly more then my current job. On the other hand, I'm sure I can squeeze some more money out of my current employer if I threaten to leave Big Grin.

No, money isn't the main decisional parameter here.

It's been soaking in soapy water overnight and it's worse now. It's a stainless steel bowl and I really don't want to scrape it with a sharp object, that defies the purpose of getting steel.

It's cooler outside, but still not cool enough that I won't be hot in flannels...
