We're going to go to "0 Dark Thirty". Looks interesting. Not entirely factual. Who cares.

I have found the CIA's public criticism of the movie more than a little silly.

To paraphrase, Hollywood has sensationalized the story and they condensed a ten year history into a two hour movie.

Do you have Netflix? And do you mind reading subtitles? If the answer to the first question is yes, and the answer to the second question is no, then I have some suggestions for you. Big Grin

Going by the Book (A string of bank robberies sets off a public panic. In order to calm the
residents of the city and fulfill his own ambitions, the newly
appointed chief of police decides to stage a bank robbery drill to
demonstrate the effectiveness of the police.)

The Wave (To give his students a real-world example of how dictatorships can grow
powerful, a high school teacher starts a social experiment that gives
some of his students a strong advantage while leaving others subservient
and powerless.)

Castaway on the Moon (Kim Seong-geun, despondent over being dumped by his
girl, decides to end it all by jumping into the Han River, but instead
wakes up on a tiny island in the middle of the waterway, now a castaway
in the teeming heart of civilization. Part social commentary, part
romantic adventure with hints of science fiction, Lee Hey-jun's film
touches on topics ranging from economic disparity to the alienating
nature of modern urban existence.)

Between the Folds (A documentary in English about Origami, it was awesome!)

The Perfect Host ({English Language film}A fugitive on the lam decides to crash a dinner party. But he seriously
regrets it when the mysterious and unusual host soon has him convinced
that he would have been better off hiding somewhere else.)

I would strongly recommend EQUILIBRIUM for your next science fiction fix. Do yourself a favor and trust me on this one, do not go on YouTube and watch the trailer, it gives away the whole movie. It has Christian Bale and Sean Bean in it, is relatively smart and has an interesting premise to work with, and fight scenes that stand up with the best of them.

Has anyone else recommended Kevin Smith's DOGMA yet? If you enjoyed Clerks and Chasing Amy, you'll get a kick out of this.

And before I forget, if you want a fun action comedy, go see RED (it's a acronym for Retired-Extremely-Dangerous). Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Hellen Mirren, Karl Urban, Mary-Louise Parker (the lead from Weeds). It is a LOT of fun, the dialogue is witty, and the movies just has a lot of fun with the premise of the film. Watch the trailer for this one, it'll give you a good idea what to expect, without giving it all away. But don't watch the 2'nd official trailer, it spoils some of the funniest moments.
