RE: What purpose do we serve?
The animals we raise for companionship or food would disappear in their present forms. The same goes for a lot of varieties of fruit , vegetable and flowers etc. that were created by us for our personal use.

I don't think humans have a "purpose," in the way you seem to be using the word. We definitely have had an impact on the planet and much of the lifeforms on it, however.

Like I said, if bees disappear then there is a massive impact to the planet.

If humans disappear what would the impact be on the planet.

I know. Blush

I was just just foolin about.

If we disappear, the planet would have a chance to heal.

I thought as much lol

Perhaps global warming is our purpose to usher in the new age of the Dolphin?

Well to be honest I was but I wasn't. I did mean what I said, unless you're just looking for actual factual "what kind of things will physically happen in the world" if we really disappeared. I was taking a more philosophically nihilistic approach to the question, which is more interesting to me, being that I have a hard time deciphering true meaning from anything......except when it comes to things like steak, whiskey, bacon, cheese and sex. If you can't decipher inherent meaning in any of those things then you're doing it wrong.

Everything else is just what we do in the meantime.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

I have not seen the movie... what is this movie, are they coming. The KILLLER Bees!?!

There would be plenty of other quality predators and top dawwgs if we weren't around as well. Just like there was before we were here. What was the purpose the Dinosaurs served?
