Tonight was fresh-picked corn on the cob. Three ears, butter, salt&pepper.

Mmmmmmmm. Drooling

Fired up the smoker at 5am. BBQ pulled pork tonight.

I had stir fry last night, it looked fucking amazing. Tasted pretty good too.
I'm trying to find this black bean sauce my mom always used but can't find it anywhere which is annoying.
Stir fry sauces are seriously lacking in this town, there's like 1 brand with like 5 different flavors of which does not include black bean. Like I understand the wanting to stock New Zealand products but comon.. this is a small country there's like 1 company per industry... Give me some fucking variety ffs.
Plus they come in packets and not cans so I'm always scared they'll burst in my bag on the way home.

In saying that I still have stir fry meat so I'm having stir fry again.

Ask mom to mail you some or contact her grocer directly. I know how you feel, there is this one butter chicken sauce I have to get, none of the other hundreds come close to that perfect sauce.

Whole grain tortellini filled with ricota and spinach.
ground beef
(red) onions
1. Boil and bake where applicable.
2. mix
3. Throw in a jar of fresh pesto.
4. Mix some more
5. Eat till you can't anymore.
6. Let the whole grains do their thing.

Make my own stir fry sauce?
a) I can't be fucked
b) sounds like an expensive way to do it when the sauce itself is like $1..

I actually found the brand that has the black bean flavor I like BUT they don't have black bean... ><
Besides, that sounds like an awful lot of trouble for a fucking stir fry sauce...

Stir fry again tonight, honey soy this time.
Than tomorrow I think I'm gonna make a rice risotto. Though note, my rice risottos aren't really risottos, more like get a bunch of veggies, get some rice, boil them up than throw them together in a frying pan with some tuna or meat and slap in some sauce stuff and mix it all together. So basically a stir fry with rice instead of noodles...
Yea, my cooking range is somewhat limited.

Fried rice for dinner tonight I think.
Boil up some rice and veggies, than chuck in a pan, add some tuna or other assorted canned fish, chuck in some sauce and stir it all up and let it fry up. Hopefully it tastes alright.
