French toast with soft butter and warm Quebec maple syrup. Drooling

*snuggles up to Chas*

What kind of bread? Just curious.

I'm making some very simple boneless marinating in some goop I threw together of odds and ends I found in the fridge.

I'm thinking asparagus as a veggie. Kinda craving also a spinachy salad with toasted almond slivers, pear and maybe some goat cheese. Undecided

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Really good locally-baked bread - crusty.

I suggest a bit of hot sauce with the goop. Hot sauce hides a multitude of shortcomings. Yes

I'm in love...I love love love French toast with a crusty bread. Drooling

There was hot sauce, it gets added to everything here. Blush I had some bloody Mary left over from brunch on Sunday. So that got tossed in. Garlic, shallot...

I gotta say the chicken wasn't bad. I was surprised. The asparagus was yummy, but didn't do the salad, ran out of time.

I'll do a tomato, basil and buffalo mozzarella salad for tomorrow.

Holy shit I hate you, Stark. I had spaghetti. Dodgy

For the record, I had lots of veggies too. It was a big salad that I ate hours ago lol

I'm ashamed to admit, I had ramen noodles (the cup o noodles type). Blush

Oh Stark I'm completely jealous.

It looks amazing.

Why ashamed?
