Baked potato soup, cottage cheese....

Sigh.

I can suck the chocolate off an almond for dessert.

Whoopee

And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Donuts. Lots and lots of donuts. With pineapple upside down cake for desert. Tongue

My daughter came over this morning to give me donuts for my birthday. Then my son and his girlfriend came over with more donuts.

Yesterday my husband made a pineapple upside down cake.

All meals and snacks today will consist of donuts and/or cake. Big Grin

I cooked some marinated boneless chicken thighs and microwaved some veggies.

I totally went easy today. The biggest question is...what will I cook tomorrow night?

Saturday we're having steak. Maybe tomorrow I'll do breakfast for dinner?

Canadian bacon, sausage...eggs?

We had breakfast tonight...can't go wrong with breakfast food regardless the time of day.

I will probably order Thai again. A green curry or something...

Standard meal for when plans change at the last moment. I brown off some ground beef with a rough chopped onion. Add salt, pepper, chilli powder, garlic powder, montreal steak seasoning, and worcestershire sauce. Once Beef is browned and onions are translucent I add 1 can of black beans and 5 cups of Water and bring to a boil. Once at a rolling boil I add in 2 cups of uncooked Jasmine Rice and cover reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. I then remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes.

That sounds really tasty. I used to make a quick bechamel sauce with lots of melty cheese....

In a skillet I'd brown some hamburger, onion and add the spices plus sometimes some chipotle in adobo...then I'd add all that to some ziti or whatever small pasta I have on hand (cooked), pour the bechamel sauce and mix the goop together. Pour it all into a pyrex dish, top with more cheese and bake it until the top browns a little.

I might do that again next week.
