That is indeed perfect.

eta: I had leftovers tonight from making burritos earlier in the week.

Once Beef is browned and onions are translucent I add 1 can of black beans and 5 cups of Water and bring to a boil. Once at a rolling boil I add in 2 cups of uncooked Jasmine Rice and cover reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. I then remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes.

Here's my recipe.

Tonight's going to be cheeseburgers w/onion, lettuce, tomato, potato/egg salad, coleslaw, and potato chips. Ice cream and sauce for desert.

Tomorrow will be sirloin strip, potato/egg salad, lettuce&tomato salad. More ice cream.

I should make some brownies. Consider

Yup mine has about 1/10th the salt content and no unpronounceable ingredients, so you know slight difference.

You could always add those. Big Grin

So they had a sale on fresh caught wild Coho Salmon. And I bought too much of it, it looked sooo good.

Last night I grilled the lot of it and ate much of it. But there is leftover cold salmon in the fridge. What shall I do with it for dinner? ( I have a well stocked kitchen and fridge)

I immediately thought of something like cucumber sauce or cucumber dill or COLD POACHED SALMON WITH MUSTARD-LIME SAUCE

If I substitute lime with lemon and sour cream with plain Greek yogurt ... I have a cucumber in the garden ready to pick....and it's over 100 degrees outside.

Sounds like a plan. Smile

Beef roast, smoked for six hours over cherry wood.

So many cats, so few good recipes.
