Leftovers. Deviled egg, pasta salad, southern potato salad, smoked chicken with Alabama white sauce, and a pulled pork sandwich.

I have a huge craving for meatloaf.

I'm thinking sometime next week...one day will be meatloaf night.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

C'mon over...I am making meatloaf tomorrow.

Depends on your meat mixture. Tongue

I do a pound each of ground veal, pork and beef.
Some minced onion, garlic, carrot and celery (cooked slightly) Italian parsley...

I make my own bread crumbs from a stale loaf of sourdough (I toast them a little because I like the taste).
Other stuff...

Hmmmph Dodgy

Invite you for dinner and you start setting ground rules.

We will be having meatloaf, loaded baked potatoes, and corn on the cob.
