And that finger thing he does...I love that.

I have all the books from the first time they were released. I am so happy Bloom County is back...it's one reason to keep a Facebook account. Smile

Oh, I loved Bloom County. If any of you remember who Tammy Faye was, the wife of evangelist Jim Bakker both of whom were caught being assholes, Bloom County did a funny take off on those two. Remember how badly she sang? OMG it was awful. And the pound of makeup she wore? I laughed so hard at this cartoon.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Did you ever read Terry Pratchett, TDO? Exquisite studies of human nature, brilliant parodies of human institutions, myths and legends, a twist or extra dimension given to the ordinary, terrific plays on words, blatant plagiarism-with-a-twist and whole new inventions of his own.

A sad loss to literature and Humanism.

P.S., should add that I read everything Adams wrote and thoroughly enjoyed those!

Tomorrow is precious, don't ruin it by fouling up today.

Hi,

Two guys were sitting at the bar in our local yesterday. They were saying how much they hated being called 'mate'. When one of them got up to leave, they both said "Cheers, mate".
