Use to ride a motorcycle I guess. I do have some pretty terrifying near-death stories from it.
When I get a steady income I very much look forward to doing skydiving and many other adrenaline type activities.
I'm very into all that sort of stuff, just can't afford to do it.

That is a good question. I got hit with a 5 ton crane load that slammed me into and over a hand rail one time. It happened in the middle of the night. Nothing like getting hurt 100 miles from the cost and having to wait for morning so the medevac chopper can come pick you up.

Surprisingly I did not have any broken bones. I did have two 1"+ deep dents in my thigh mussels. One on the back side just below my butt and one on the front about halfway between my knee and hip. I also had miscellaneous cuts and burses from landing on grating. I consider myself extremely lucky to have not gotten killed then.

There is also the walking away from the car wreck I was in. We were doing well over 100. The driver lost control and spun out. We went over a ditch, through a fence, over an embankment and narrowly missed two telephone poles. The car stayed up right the entire time.

RE: What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done?
In my early 20s, some friends and I were really drunk in Philadelphia one night when i decided to go see this girl i knew who was a student across the river in Rutgers at Camden (one off the most dangerous cities in the US, btw). So, my one friend and i walked to the Ben Franklin bridge, hopped the gate that blocked the pedestrian crossing, and headed to Camden. I should mention it was about 2 AM and January, so it was cold.

Anyway, we get about a third of the way across when we discover there was construction and the walk path had been removed. There are now steel girders and 300 feet below that was the Delaware river. The odds of surviving a fall are private zero. But, being drunk and cold and horny, I decide I can walk across this girder to get across the bridge. I get less than half way before i realize how bad an idea this is and turn back. Luckily, neither my friend (who is even dumber than me for following me this far with no girl on the end of this quest) fell to our certain deaths. We make it back to the path and i decide maybe the path on the other side of the bridge is open. So, we do the only reasonable thing; we climb over the rib on the bridge to get to the other side.

We survived that, the path on the other side was intact, and we made it to Camden. We then wanted through Camden, the then murder capital of the US and get to said girls apartment. We knock on her door, wake her up, and i then passed right out on her couch.

I'm not sure if this is the most dangerous thing I've done or just the dumbest.

Lets see, I ride a motorcycle every day, done some dangerous variants on that theme. Driven drunk a few times but these days I'm tea-total whenever I'm driving. Quite a lot of rock/building climbing.

Some stuff working around and for the US military. Socialised with a few serious bikers and one or two drug/weapon/human dealers. And my ex-wife... scary.

Wow, that's crazy. Confused

RE: What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done?
There was another stupid and dangerous thing that I forgot to mention in my previous post. In elementary school, I played on the baseball team, and at one of our practices, I sat in for the catcher during batting practice. The coach happened to look over and notice that I wasn't wearing a catcher's mask, and yelled at me to put one on. Within a few pitches, I got a foul ball right in the face. Would have been pretty nasty without the mask.

Kept staring at that move for so long that my body started to quiver. No going back down. Made the move but in another universe I'm already dead. Shocking Hobo

How about you? And roller coasters don't count.

I have led a remarkably boring life... Let's see that I can dig up that might be considered remotely dangerous...

I jaywalk across busy roads while listening to podcasts or music routinely... does that count?

When I was a child, my father used to take myself and my elder siblings to a mini-trains event for which he provided first aid; we would run off and play on the playground there, being the petulant and tenacious shit I was, I however often got bored and and went climbing in the dried-out creek there.
This might not seem so dangerous, but at it was always summer at the time and the creek provided the perfect refuge for all of the highly active snakes in the region to hide or wait for prey and had I been bitten, it would have been a bitch to extract me from the creek bed, not that anybody was likely to know as I often went off on my own. It was also an excellent place for many large, highly venomous spiders.
I got yelled at on more than one occasion by my father for such antics.

Also as a child, I used to breath in exhaust fumes directly from the tail pipes of cars. That might explain some things...

As a kid, I used to sleep on the floor. Relax, I had a mattress, there were medical reasons for this but it's not relevant to the story.
My brother and I shared out room and had a bunk-bed; I, no older than 8 at the time liked to climb up to the top bunk with was over twice my hight and I always refused to use the in-build ladder.
While I refused to go up the same way, I would go down the same way every time. I jumped the metre-odd gap between the bunk to my floortress; every time risking whacking my head on the wall. I had done it successfully countless times, but there was one time... twas a hot day so the ceiling fan was running full-tilt; I forgot this and decided to jump. Halfway across the gap the fan blade slammed into the side of my head.
You know the old Wily E. Coyote shorts where he'll go off a cliff, look down and just lose all forward momentum and drop straight down? I swear that shit happened to me; I got hit by the blade and just dropped like a sack of bricks, no forward movement at all.

Yeah, I have not lived a very dangerous life... And at this point I am either too smart or too cowardly to do anything extremely dangerous/stupid.

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

I hood surfed. Drunk. I was originally driving when I told my passenger to take the wheel. He was also drunk. 95 MPH down the highway for about 10 miles.
