Vagina

Uterus

Fallopian tube

Ovaries

Reproductive tract

mons pubis

pudendal cleft

labia majora

Bartholin's glands

clitoris

Remove all of these and add all the male parts and then I will say you can change gender.

And is that a useful definition?

Do you really think that if you did that to a woman and replaced them with male parts that they would then think and act like men despite all the scientific evidence to the contrary?

Quote:Also if gender is not choice what is it.

Based on the limited resolution of our brain scans all we can recognise so far is relatively greater or lesser development in specific parts of the brain.

Yeah if a human has all those parts, she is a female. If she has most still female. If she has none, based on evidence before they were removed still female. When she gets the sex organs of all males, then I can say she choose her gender. Until then you stay female. Even if she is packed with testosterone. No different than hyeans. We don't run around saying all hyenas are of the male gender. So no matter what your gentalia that you where born with, until you can change they whole system with the other, determines what gender you are.

Strawman again.

Yes. It seems maybe you used to hear that gender is a choice from only people who were afraid to say they're gay, but now I think there are a few people here who are not afraid to say whether or not they are gay and are willing to support the notion (with cited evidence) that gender goes beyond what you see in the pants. Alright thats it, I want the paper that says gender is different from sex. When you do I will change my views and admit my errors.

I haven't heard the argument that gender is a choice from anyone but you.

So this woman wasn't actually male or female for the first 28 years of life?

'I was born without a womb': Woman, 28, left heartbroken by rare condition given hope as she could become first in Britain to have a uterus transplant

What should her passport have said? I for indeterminate? Does this mean that if she had tried to get married before gay marriage was allowed that the ceremony would have been void? Should be no never have been addressed as Ms but "Errmm?" ? Should she have been barred from both women's and men's toilets for being neither?

Do you still think your definition of gender is a useful one?

I have changed my views to neither side after seeing a science source that said that it is a complicated subject. Got to change with science.
