What's your wheels?
I'm sure some will call it stereotyping - but like the clothes you wear - the car you drive does say something about your personality.

So - what do you drive?

I've got 3 vehicles - sort of. (not counting mountain bike)

Motorcycle - 1998 Triumph
1983 A.M. General DJ-5 (a right hand driving mail jeep)
1994-96 Saturn SC2 (We've got 5 of them - what can I say? We like 'em)

My choice of vehicle tends to say "Non conventional".

2005 BMW 325xi with 70,000 miles.

I traded in my 2004 BMW 325i with 158,000 miles for this one (it had 64,000 miles).

I'm lovin' the all-wheel drive.

We don't name the Saturns - just give 'em numbers...

#2 -- the one I drive regularly - has 197,000 on it.... but, I've had it for 13 years.....

#1 - the one my g/f had when she moved in - has over 320,000 on it - she bought new - but needs an engine rebuild (low compression one cylinder). That's going to be one project this year......

RE: What's your wheels?
I have two (both bicycles):

(1) A relatively cheap Cannondale hybrid. This is my everyday commuting bike. I can ride it in just about any kind of weather and not worry too much about what it's doing to the bike.

(2) A really nice, really expensive Serotta Ottrott. This is for fun rides on weekends in good weather. It's much more pleasurable to ride than the Cannondale, but it's much too valuable for commuting and bad weather.

I have a driver's license, and will occasionally rent a car when I need to, but I haven't owned a car since 1991. That car was a 5-liter Ford Mustang GT. Nice car, but I don't do cars anymore.
