I don't even know what this is or how to find it. Pretty sure I don't care too either. What the hell would I use this for? To ignore someone pissing me off? Think I'd rather investigate why am I getting pissed off in the first place?

Yeah, It would have to be really extreme for me to consider using the ignore list.. Probably that person would have to do things so extreme that it would get their ass booted from this forum anyway...

Disturbingly awesome. ... Think we could start a new genre?

RE: What the “Ignore List” is good for
There are people I ignore, but I don't use the ignore list. I pretty much skip what these people say, but feel like I need to skim their posts to follow the conversation. But I can see the other side of the coin too. If having someone on ignore helps you keep a level head then I think that's an admirable tactic when compared to just plain losing your shit.

When I see no hope at all, after several failed attempts to communicate, I don’t want to see any more “jibber-jabber” to clutter up the thread.

One more reason: if the person is using particularly ugly and abusive language.

I am sure others have their own reasons, if they use the feature at all, but I find it very convenient.

Not sure if I'm still on the dreaded ignore list (oh no-ses!) but explain to me where I fit in. I didn't use abusive language and I was definitely being honest. And I'm clearly not a troll. It seems to me that once Zat is done shouting at someone, he'll Ignore them and move on to the next person to shout at. Seems like he would rather have a brick wall as his audience instead of individuals with opposing ideas.

But it matters not. I don't care either way. Anyone utilizing censorship and ear-plugging clearly isn't interest in honest debate. They want to preach, and I don't want to be preached at. So it's for the best.

RE: What the “Ignore List” is good for
If someone is still wondering about ignore list, if you click on the username (to go to their user page) under their avatar (on the right side) there are two options to add to buddy or ignore list.

Don't use it myself, but know it's good for some people.
