Study. Watch Star Trek. Study again while drinking beer. Study. Buy groceries.

RE: What we did instead of go to church
I went to my 12 year old daughter's state gymnastics meet and watched her win a state championship title! She did this after having to take 6 weeks off due to a knee injury earlier this season. She's has been struggling to get back in her groove ever since and was able to finally pull it all together in the state meet. Woohoooo!

I am not accountable to any God. I am accountable to myself - and not because I think I am God as some theists would try to assert - but because, no matter what actions I take, thoughts I think, or words I utter, I have to be able to live with myself.

RE: What we did instead of go to church
My partner and I had French toast and lattes and sat on the couch talking and spending some quality time together.

Even when I was a Christian, I spent a lot of time in church grinding my teeth and feeling anxious or upset. Now I spend my time however I want, which is kind of a novelty (still trying to avoid guilt feelings, but it's getting easier).

Slept in, read a few news articles, a little Sagan, and worked for a couple of hours.

Fyck church.

My hubby was looking at goat simulator but we weren't sure whether it was worth spending money on it. We don't often buy games and he's still playing games which are ten years old.

Its stupid fun for a few hours. Mods should live it long.
well worth 10 buks

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

I sleep in.

Sometimes I go to do research, but not as much lately.

The OP's comment was very beautiful and I would be lying if I told you it did not make me smile.

Plus, The Beatles on vinyl…priceless
