To be fair Bucky I have to point out your statement :" I hope YOUR sitting down" in an otherwise compelling scholarly treatise. Or we're u being ironic?

RE: What/who is Yahweh?
The god of the Yahoos was a big hunter man figure in the sky who Moses climbed up a hill to speak to. The only big man in the sky is the star constellation of Orion (Arian) or Horus. They are one and the same. That is why there was a "cult of Horus" in Egypt. It came via the Armenian Hyksos, the Shepherd Kings who invaded the country and settled in the Nile delta around Heraclion and Alexandria. When they left, they returned to Armenia, which is the areas now known as Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and Israel and set up shop in Herusalem which is named after their god figure, Horus.

Josephus explained 2000 years ago that the Jews were Hyksos who came from Judea and invaded Egypt. These people worshipped a big warrior figure called Hayk. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hayk. Which makes the Jews "Armenian" or Ar-Men, that is Aryans. All this BS about the name Yahweh is just piffle to be frank.

Facepalm LMAO.
What IS BS is all your made-up, unsupported fiction. We've already been through this before when you came up with a DIFFERENT story about how Jerusalem was named. Are you demented, and can't actually remember what you said before ?
There is not a shred of scholarly support for this latest dot-connecting enterprise. But please keep it up. Your credibility which is already "0", can go negative.

It is a name. But it was stolen from the Ugartic pantheon of polytheism prior. Yahweh was a lesser god in the "divine family" under the head god "El".

Religion, polytheism, or monotheism, back then as it is now, still are spin offs or mixes of prior religions. Just like Scientology is a mix of new age and Christianity. Just like Mormonism is a spin off of Christianity.

When you hear anyone of any religion claim their religion is "original" it is like arguing that Coke beat Pespsi because it's can was red, missing the point that water was the first beverage.

Religion exists because humans compete, not because god/s are real or that religion is even necessary.

Egypt can be said to be one of the biggest influences to many religions that followed, second would be the mix of Mesopotamian polytheism and Greek/Roman influences. Not hard to see the overlap considering that Europe and North Africa and Mesopotamia are in very close proximity.

It really is no different than understanding the grade school game of telling a story in a circle. By the time it gets back to the person who started it can look quite different but still contain the same motifs.

But in real life, it isn't just one circle, but overlapping and competing circles.

Religion isn't that hard to understand. Humans back then, even those of Asia and the Orient, mistook good fortune as being from something bigger than nature, something "divine", eternal.

Do you pull this shit out of your ass?

The word "Yahoo" was made up by Jonathan Swift in Gulliver's Travels, published in 1726.

And the name 'Orion' has nothing to do with "Arian", whatever that is.
