RE: What would you do if you won the lottery?
Buy a uninhabited Philippine island ...
and set up a orphanage / education centre ... as the central pillar of a society with a constitution based on thinking of greats like Epicurus, Thomas Hobbes, Spinoza, David Hume, John Stuart Mill, Karl Marx, George Orwell, Russell, etc. ... run as a matriarchal society... inviting all my single-mother friends to organise and operate the whole show. ... and then spend all day on the beach drinking Kahlua cocktails. ![]() |

I'd fund a small research group at my university with a few more PhD students, a few masters students, some undergrads, and some post-docs. I'd buy us a few pieces of equipment for research purposes and furnish a new lab to go along with all of it.

RE: What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would love to be a philanthropist and investor. I see amazing projects going on around the world advancing important technologies, but so many of them run on small budgets and have limited impact. If I had $160,000,000, I could help kickstart lots of worthwhile enterprises that I think deserve it. From the investment I could get more money and continue the cycle. I would also like to donate to certain charities that I think don't get the funds that they deserve.
Apart from that, I'd set my family up for life with around two million dollars each. If something can be destroyed by the truth, it might be worth destroying. ![]() |

I'd like to invest in cleaner cars or something that would make a difference in the global warming problem. I don't know exactly what but something in that area. The other thing, my hubby wants to build a glass theatre and art center to direct Shakespeare and other plays in. Inside the theatre would be a Shakespearian garden with trees and herbs mentioned in the plays. The audience would sit among the garden area with great site lines of the stage and watch fabulous stuff. Wouldn't that be fantastic! Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump: He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere, Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where; Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind, Stigmatical in making, worse in mind. |
