When religion puts you into a plastic bubble—LITERALLY!
I first thought this was something from The Onion. But apparently it's a legitimate news story. No

Religious disputes are like arguments in a madhouse over which inmate really is Napoleon.

Well Christianity and Islam have been showing their crazy for a long time now and Judaism felt left out.

My first thought at seeing the picture was the warnings they put on plastic bags..."This is not a toy".

I'm not anti-social. I'm pro-solitude.

Okay, this has got to be the stupidest thing I've seen in a long, long while. And I deal with stupidity on a daily basis.

Too stupid to even try and make a joke about it. I just cannot beat the joke that guy in the article has already made of himself.

But you just have to wonder to what stupid lengths are people actually prepared to go for their religion, before it dawns on them that this is more ridiculous even than chakras and biofeedback, and the rest of that garbage? No

It's absolutely incredulous how extreme religious influence on some people renders the concept of human intelligence so much booshwa.

Hang on a sec!

I can oh, so relate to this.

His orthodoxy has nothing to do with it. He just didn't want to get some other bastard's germs... aviator flu, right?

But we must respect their beliefs.

Well it sure makes sense to me. If there is a religious prohibition against flying above graveyards, it makes complete sense that a plastic bag would insulate himself from violating such a sacrosanct rule. How can an insulated and pressurized cabin possibly compete with a plastic bag?

How do you know the man wrapped himself in a bag for religious reasons?

Look, you *****, either learn to reply properly or to read properly or something. Just stop replying specifically to me with a general (and stupid) question. Jesus fucking Christ!
