Where are you on the Political Scale?
Well, I have noticed a lack of a thread that lets the whole forum know what your political tendencies are so.. Here is one.

http://www.politicalcompass.org/test

Here is where I ended up, and it is actually pretty accurate.

Economic Left/Right: -5.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.62

I think we should kill the poor, and eat their children.

In seriousness...

RE: Where are you on the Political Scale?
This has been on here in the past. I am not fond of the way that test is set up. I think the questions are too ideological and hypothetical to make a legit impact on ones view. I get way far into the corner of bottom left.

Yet tests with legitimate programs being in the question will get much more centered responses from me.

Economic Left/Right: 0

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.0

I made a thread on this already so I just posted my last result. It's accurate as far as I'm concerned.

Can you give examples of some non-ideological, and non-hypothetical questions?

I can't give a great list, but some questions on other areas that relate to topics on hand I've seen go more in the fashion of:

You are willing to pay more in taxes to improve your local water/air supply?
That's a question I've seen used for many a various scenario. Then in comparison it helps demonstrate the value more highly attributed by the person. It's just more personal connection/responsibility tied to the question.

Others I can recall that incite more depth:
It is wrong to enforce moral behavior through the law because this infringes upon an individual's freedom?

Should Non-citizens be allowed to sell their labor domestically at a rate the market
will pay?

It is wrong to enforce moral behavior through the law because this infringes upon an individual's freedom?
