RE: Where do you get your news?
I get my news from here and there. CNN is playing in front of my desk at work - not by choice, but its where I usually learn about a storie's existence - and the fact that it is somehow is 'breaking news' for 6 weeks at a time. Mostly sensationalized drivel. I get some from TTA, which I generally like more. Some from Youtube video channels like The Young Turks and Vice News.

I don't usually go to sites to check the news. I get most of it from listening to NPR to and from work. I may pick up random stories and articles mentioned elsewhere on the web. If I hear a teaser on a story and I want to look it up, I typically go to GoogleNews and click on a handful of articles there to see what comes up.

RE: Where do you get your news?
I watch Al Jezeera. It's good and it's the only 24/7 news program on TV. I watch the 6 oclock news on TV3.
Al Jezeera for world news, 3 News for NZ news.
On the internet I use http://www.stuff.co.nz which is our biggest news website (after the herald maybe).
And TTA for the crazy "lol this is why the world hates you 'Murica" news.
