Video Which movie is it from?
I said yesterday (or was it two days ago?) that I would start a "guess which movie the quote is from" thread.
This is my way of trying to save some of my honor and dignity after not being able to remember that "and then? and then? and then? and THEN? AND THEN?" was from Dude Where's My Car.

I'll start of the show with a quote from one of my favorite movies. It's a long one, just to make things easy at first. And please people, no googleing. That's cheating.

Now you will receive us.
We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
We do not want your tired and sick.
It is your corrupt we claim.
It is your evil that will be sought by us.
With every breath we shall hunt them down.
Each day, we will spill their blood till it rains down from the skies.
Do not kill, do not rape, do not steal, these are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
There are varying degrees of evil, we urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over, into true corruption, into our domain.
For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three. And on that day, you will reap it.
And we will send you to whatever god you wish.

I want to rip off your superstitions and make passionate sense to you

RE: Which movie is it from?
The text does not seem to be something I remember... However, is there any chance that it's from the Interview with a Vampire? It would make sense in my mind; especially if those words were been told by Lestat. Blush

RE: Which movie is it from?
Nope. not a vampire movie. when I think about it, maybe I should have started with a blockbuster, not a cult film. Tongue

Allow me.

I would at least like to know his name.

[in reply] ...He was called John Russell.

Apparently it's from a movie called hombre... but I've never seen it, I cheated.

"So we finish 18 and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that goin' for me, which is nice."

or even though I may get in trouble for two:

Boondock Saints is a great movie! Smile Sean Patrick Flanery , who plays Connor MacManus, one of the Saints, played the lead in the movie, "Powder". And Norman Reedus, the fraternal twin brother of Connor, is "Judas" in the new Lady Gaga video.

If you're going to rent Boondock Saints, don't forget to also get it's long awaited sequel, Boondock Saints 2 - All Saints Day. Billy Connolly rocks! And Willem Dafoe stars also. Loved him in "Platoon".

The 18 gave it away. "Caddyshack".
