White House chief of staff admits having no irrefutable evidence on Assad.
Watch this interview of White House chief of staff:.
The war criminal wannabe says the US has no irrefutable evidence and that it's based on "common sense" The US has nothing. What is funny is that the liberal war mongering is based on "humanitarian wars" so there has been a big push by showing the videos of dead children and mentioning them repeatedly in order to get people to support a war...EVEN THOUGH SHOWING VICTIMS DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH PROVING WHO DID IT.

RE: White House chief of staff admits having no irrefutable evidence on Assad.
There also is no irrefutable evidence that the rebels did this, as you like to claim. At this point, I'd be waiting for more evidence to come to light to assign responsibility for sure. There's a report claiming German Intelligence had intercepts of communications from some commanders pushing to be allowed to use chemical weapons, but that those requests were always declined higher up. The report is that these intercepts were collected directly by the Germans. The pres reports speculate that some commander deployed the weapons without authorization, but I don't yet see actual evidence supporting that.

However, I&I, your entire "evidence" that the rebels did the chemical attack was how stupid it would be for Assad to do it. You refuse to consider any other possibility--including rogue elements within Assad's forces-- and take Russian opinion as settled fact that the rebels did this.

Who is saying the revels did this?

I simply posted 1. Videos of rebels possessing chemical weapons. threatening to use them, news reports of turkish officials residing border towns and capturing chemical weapons in rebel held areas of the border, along with interviews with rebels in that town who believe it was a rival rebel (terrorist) group.

Videos have come out recently of rebel leaders admitting they carried out the attack.

Do you have ANY THING in comparison that would point to assad?

From which country did the supposed intercepts come from? I will give you a hint, it's a country in the middle east and it starts with an I....... Yeah they admitted that they gave the intercepts to washington. And that country would Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever make up shit to push the US into destroying one of it's adversaries. NEVER.

Possible possession of chemical weapons is not evidence the rebels did this. Geesh--if that were evidence, than the same can be said for Assad.

Really---you have video evidence of the rebels claiming credit for the attacks? Why don't you post them?

You didn't read my post or the article I linked to. This was attributed to German Intelligence who collected the information directly from their own assets, not the 'evil' unmentioned people you allude to. From the article :
"Bild said the radio traffic was intercepted by a German naval reconnaissance vessel, the Oker, sailing close to the Syrian coast."
That specific enough for you?

Did you actually view the videos you refer to? The video only reports rebels claiming they had access to "weapons not used before", so at best it demonstrates they may have unconventional weapons they can use. The actual Fox News story:
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/09/...y-surface/

In this story, the video you claim shows rebels claiming credit for the chemical weapons attack was a generic claim of the possession of chemical weapons and willingness to use them. This video originally surfaced through Infowars--no wonder Fox News "has not been able to independently authenticate". Also notice that the actual Fox News story your link reports on contains this reference to rebel claims in the mix of another widely reported video of rebels assassinating Syrian troops. This other video, in addition to being more shocking, does not include such disclaimers because, presumably, Fox News has been able to independently verify the information in that video.

Also, the video that Infowars claims shows rebels admitting to using chemical weapons doesn't actually do that. The video is of someone threatening to use weapons

And in another sign of the questionable nature of this video post on Youtube, the description contains the text:
Quote:How To Go To Heaven: http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/how_to...
http://www.infowars.com/rebels-admit-res...ns-attack/
Militants tell AP reporter they mishandled Saudi-supplied chemical weapons, causing accident

Riiiiggghhhttt.....so we have religious nutjobs pushing this story, and you buy it?

The video is not a video of a confession. It is a video that was included in a questionable Infowars story that claimed there was an admission.

You really screwed that up there I&I.

Of course.

Anything from such a reputable, reliable, consistent source MUST be real.
