Jelly and Jello are separate things man.

You have jam on toast and sandwiches and you have jelly with ice cream for desert.

Yabut, how do you differentiate between the stuff in the jar when it has actual pieces of fruit in it (jam or preserves) and when it doesn't (jelly)? That's what the words mean here in 'Murica.

I can usually tell if there are fruits around.

RE: Who is best informed.
As of 2012 or so, I've heard that people who primarily listen to NPR tend to be most informed, followed by people who watch The Daily Show. I've noticed both of these are suspiciously missing from the list.

Regarding two of the three that did make this dubious list, people who primarily watched Fox were least informed, followed by watchers of MSNBC.

Edit: Note that the people coming in at the bottom of that survey did worse than people who didn't watch/listen to the news at all.
