Best bet -- walk around all day with headphones on, listening to death metal on your phone or mp3 player....

That drowns out the xmas garbage.

When in any retail store - turn up the volume to ear shattering levels.

Drink excessively, if at all possible. If you do burnables -- that probably is in order as well.

And don't worry..

In 3 months it will all be over...

Sad

The difference between prayer and masturbation - is when a guy is through masturbating - he has something to show for his efforts.

Thanks. Still though, I'd rather Christmas be pacified than a period of lawless debauchery, so it was probably a good thing that they stole Christmas.

Haha, I live in Vermont which is like one of the least religious states in the country. The only time I see anything religion related, its on church property which they have the right to do so, no problem there. I don't care. Sure, you get the JWs and the Mormons knocking on your doors every so often. The salvation army appears pretty much out of now where during the holidays. But I am so sick of seeing the war on christmas crap in general, it shocks me how delusional people are.

I mean I think that its only going to continue to get worse because atheism is on the rise and religious people are scared of that.

But I don't know.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime; give a man religion and he will die praying for a fish.

I'd rather Christians behaved year-round rather than just a two-week season, but hey, you can't get everything you want.

Question: do only Americans make a fuzz about saying "happy holidays" instead of "merry Christmas"? Or do people from other countries make the same fuzz? Share please.

I don't really like going outside.
It's too damn "peopley" out there....

Also is the reverse true? Do you make a fuzz if Simone says "merry Christmas to you?

A fuzz?

I haven't ever heard of anybody making a fuss over somebody saying Merry Christmas. Even those of us who aren't religious can still have a good time on the holiday and take the phrase in the spirit in which it is said. In my experience most people don't really even think about it, it is just something you say and is intended to be positive so I accept it that way. I'd only react negatively if somebody made a point of saying CHRIST-mas or otherwise really stressed the religious angle.

What's wrong with debauchery?

Funny how the war on Christmas people don't seem to be upset about the stores putting out their displays earlier and earlier every year. Seems to me that the gross commercialism that starts shortly after Labor Day would be offensive. They want to put the Christ back in Christmas, perhaps they should take the dollars signs out of the whole thing.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF
