I don't disagree with you there at all, but...

How different is that from throwing tea into the water to protest taxes?

It isn't. It just have patina of successful riot/rebellion on it's side.

Wink

Because we are all, every single one of us, merely poorly evolved primates with inflated egos and overly developed fascination with fire and destruction.

RE: Why Do People Riot?
I was living in Los Angeles during the 1992 Rodney King riots. There was smoke in the air all around us and cinders and ashes covered our cars. Sirens were going everywhere. My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I quickly packed up our camping stuff and went up to Arrowhead Lake for a week. It was scary as shit getting out of town because we had to figure out which way was the safest route and this was of course before the internet and GPS which tells you what's going on in real time. The freeways were jam packed with other people who had the same idea. Grrrr. I never want to live through another riot like that.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

I wanted to add this link to how and why the LA riots began. This is an excellent analysis of the events.
