Why Do You Celebrate The New year ?
Where that comes from ? considering the fact that time is psychological

Happy new year anyway

Time is not purely psychological. The Earth goes around the Sun, each revolution is a year; objective fact.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

To be honest it has no special significance for me, it's just a good excuse to hit the booze.

Basically, this. A new year doesn't mean a whole lot to me.

RE: Why Do You Celebrate The New year ?
I haven't celebrated new years ever since I stopped drinking and partaking of the narcotics. Doesn't seem much point.
Plus I'm old now and when not suffering from insomnia I'm actually lucky to stay up past ten.
I might try this year though as recent events in my life have helped to give me a greater appreciation for the people who are in it, and I wouldn't mind stayin up with them.

It is my time of the year to have a talk with all the Gods and demons. It is the time to test my own stability and will power.

I do that like dr. Walter Bishop does...

RE: Why Do You Celebrate The New year ?
I haven't seen midnight on New Years eve for several years now.

This year I may go to some friends, but for me it's the party, not the date that is enticing. Great excuse to roll a huge "New Years Cannon" though!

Just visiting.
