RE: Why are humans such strange creatures
Why are we strange? Look at us then look at other apes. NO, look at other monkeys. NO,look at other primates then look back at us. We are near hairless apes. If other apes could speak to humans, they would laugh at us and call us hairless freaks. All primates would. Not only that we are the weakest ape. An average strength chimpanzee is a human body builder. We are aliens, think about it. We are near hairless bipedal animals that can travel into space. So remember next time you see an animal and call it weird, think about how you are the naked mole rat of apes.

Yep.
If we were cats, we might be ...

this.
And we'd need sun block for outdoors and we'd need to have warmth from our environment because we have no dense coat like the other cat types.

Who knows ... maybe modern humans are the result of a recessive gene back in the day. Wink

Really it was because we did not need much hair seeing as plains have less parasites then trees.

Religion helped a lot.

Oh, so no recessive gene, huh? Darn. I kind of enjoy the notion of being the offspring of a successful mutant. Shy

Also, it does not appear that they question their existence or worship any gods. it also doesn't really seem that they are given different talents or that they have any interests , unique hobbies, occupations,, or interest in things like gold or silver. They don't buy or sell anything or make rules or laws or have prisons. it also appears that they never question the existence or worship a God.

Have you read about or come up with any answers as to why aside from the fact that they are less intelligent?

The difference in psychological complexity between a fully developed human and our nearest evolutionary relative the chimpanzee is the same as the difference in psychological complexity between that chimpanzee and a jellyfish!

(Humans and chimps are separated by 3 orders of cognitive complexity, as are chimps and jellyfish).

We are much more psychologically complex even than our nearest evolutionary relative. The complexity of our human behaviour relative to chimp behaviour is a simple reflection of that.

In some ways, people are stupid in comparison to animals. In some ways insects are even smarter than people. I stand corrected!

Apes did learn that. We call them humans...

(sometimes a wasp will tickle a spider web till the spider comes out and sting it . The wasp knows exactly what it's doing I've seen it. It premeditatively knows that by tickling the web the spider comes out and it knows exactly where to sting the spider and manhandle it without taking karate or wrestling lessons.

Animals learn things; they can be trained, they know certain things work if they do certain things but they just don't know why. They do not have conceptual reason, not on our level, we have hit some kind of singularity, other animals have it to certain degrees. Some apes trade food for sex for example.

But most animals respond to observed situations, we can not only observe situations but imagine them in our minds, so where only observations scare animals, or lure them by pleasure, we can be subject to ideas on their own that scare us or tempt us. This can make us much more crazy in our behaviour than animals, but our ability to control those impulses mean we can be much more sane than animals also. Our horizons are broader so to speak.

We are not unique in that regard, chimps will rip your face off if you maintain eye contact too long.
