Why did'nt I have more interaction with her
My wonderful beautiful funny and caring sister has died.
We were three years apart, but worlds apart, we lived within 5 miles of each other but it may have well been a million miles.
I had the chance to see her often but didn't.
What the hell was I thinking?
My little world took over, I would give anything at this moment to see her and tell her that I love her. I'm heartbroken.

I'm sorry for your loss.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

I am so sorry for your loss. Sending hugs your way. I hope you find peace.

And you remind me to call my dear friend tomorrow...we are far apart geographically and both have our own stuff going on but I really want to hear her voice and tell her I love her and have her tell me she loves me. Thank you for reminding me to keep in touch.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

I'm so sorry for your loss. Hugs to you. I think it's normal to think "I should have done this" or "why didn't I do that" when a loved one passes away. I did the same thing when my dad passed away.

I can tell just by the description of your sister in your post: wonderful, funny, caring, beautiful--she knew that you loved her.

It seems to me, that as much as you cared for her -- it's likely she felt the same way of you.

Of that, be glad.

You might have missed time together - but it's obvious that there was feeling.

....

Lots of people get time together -- but not much else.

...

I'd have to say you got the better deal....

So very sorry. Losing a sibling is always hard. Remember her laughter and the qualities that were best about her. Help those live on.
