Here in Canada the Sun is the best news source. It has a right-wing bias, but it is way more impartial than the liberal media.

Oh sweet Christ.

Are you for real?

The Sun is a cesspool dishrag.

Allow me to present you the following proposition:
You have not finished maturing.

Did you think - at 14 - that your views would change with time?

Do you think - now - that your views will change with time?

Think carefully. There is only one right answer so far as rational skepticism is concerned.

And leave it to a SJW like you to defend Anita Sarkeesian. Yes, the rape/death threats were wrong, but that doesn't make what she has to say any less bullshit. Fred Phelps got death threats too, and he still could have been buried in a matchbox if they had just given him an enema.

You just haven't matured enough. I was a radical leftist until around 14, then I grew up. I matured, and I am fortunate enough to have done so at such a young age. One day you too will grow up and leave your infantile fantasies behind.

If 'growing up' by your standards requires the complete inability to handle nuance and deal with the world in anything but black and white dichotomies, I hope I never grow up; I happen to value my empathy. Drinking Beverage

Notice however that you still FAILED to use Anita to prove your point, and you assumed that I agreed with her; and since when did I say I read, supported, or agreed with CounterPunch? Guess what, not all 'independent' media is the same; some of it is liberal, some is conservative, some is moderate, some try for objective journalism, and others are dogmatic mouthpieces. Could you stawman any harder (it's a rhetorical question, I know you can do worse)? Also nice attempted Godwin there too. Way to go fucknuts...

Maybe when you mature you won't be antisemitic anymore.

Ever wonder why it is that anti-Zionists never say anything about black people facing genocide and being taken as slaves in Sudan? Why they never throw a fit about Japan trying to steal land from China (a country which Japan has committed genocide against). Why you will never hear a word about Saudi Arabia? Why they don't kick and scream about the DPRK? It is simple; these human rights abusers aren't Jews. Anti-Zionism is just antisemitism in disguise. If they really gave a damn about human rights Israel would be near the bottom of their list.

Of course they will change! They already have and will continue to do so as I mature. My views are constantly changing as I read, learn and am exposed to more.

At 14 I didn't think my views would ever change, I wasn't nearly as mature then as I am now.

In the interest of full disclosure; I used to be an anti-Zionist. But when I started looking at the situation rationally, rather than just eating up what the left-wing opinion-makers told me, I started to see things much differently.

Don't worry, EK, I got this.

He isn't anti-semitic.

But I can see where stubbornly insisting on straw men makes you feel better about your own position.

Your stunningly ignorant feels are not actually an accurate basis for determining what other people think about things?

Sweet noodly appendage, but that's a non-stop failtrain of strawmanning.

So literally the best you can do to excuse Israeli actions is to say "b..but other people do worse stuff!".

I mean, A), that's not an argument, and B), that's tacit admission that there are in fact valid criticisms.

Why do I get the feeling you'd've been a Khmer Rouge apologist back in the day? They might have been Communists, but they were our Communists...

Have you changed your mind about constitutional monarchies, after your heap of lies and misunderstandings were exposed?

Actually I was never a Maoist or anything like that.

My economic views are not that much different than they used to be. The biggest change is I realized that economic planning works like a dowsing rod; it doesn't.

Now I am a free-market socialist.

I still think republicanism is a far better system if that's what your asking.

No he was literally asking if you absorbed the information that was presented to you about why you were horribly misinformed to the point of Not Even Wrong and thus have any shred of intellectual honesty. We want to know if you are a Luminon style brick wall that we only argue against for the other people reading the thread or is there yet hope for you.

Yes I realized that I was wrong about some things.
