The translation dispute might mess up the fantasy animals in the Bible argument, but it does open the door for asking how we can trust the Bible at all when we don't have original documents, don't speak the original languages and have differing modern translations. How do we know if what we read is the divinely inspired word of God or translator error?

I mean, if God was really inspiring/guiding the translators as well as the original authors like some Christians claim, then it seems like they would have gotten the unicorn/oryx/buffalo/whatever thing right the first time. Consider

"I feel as though the camera is almost a kind of voyeur in Mr. Beans life, and you just watch this bizarre man going about his life in the way that he wants to."

-Rowan Atkinson

If it has the Imprimatur stamp, it's the right one. Otherwise, it's not.
Or so the Catholics tell me. Drinking Beverage

I am not accountable to any God. I am accountable to myself - and not because I think I am God as some theists would try to assert - but because, no matter what actions I take, thoughts I think, or words I utter, I have to be able to live with myself.

If you don't repent, you will die! Read Revelations and be very afraid, this is what will happen to you if you don't repent!

Any religion (or god) that would require you to actually believe this, isn't one worth following.

Don't feed the trolls. No person so stupid would be capable of registering for a forum on the internet.

Unless OP is 13 years old. Either way there is no point in replying.
