Why does YouTube think I'm an alcoholic?
I use AddBlocker in Chrome on PC, but when listening to YouTube on my iPod at work, I get inundated with adds before almost every video; and every single one for the past two weeks has been the same Grey Goose vodka advertisement.

So why does YouTube think I'm an alcoholic? Undecided

I don't even like vodka...

Count yourself blessed. YouTube insists on bombarding me with ads for Christian Mingle.

I am equally amused and disappointed that that was an accident.

It is bot crap, ignore it. On another atheist website the owner got questioned about religious college adds bellow his homepage banner. People used to stupidly ask why he would take money from them. That was simply some users not understanding how technology has changed. Give corporate America enough money to flood the market with more adds and if thy could they'd force homeowners to keep adds in their bedrooms and in their showers.

So not liking wodka makes you not an alcoholic?
You haven't mentioned your preference for other beverages.

Also, ads are also set by the shows that you watch, they have a say in which ads or which genre of ads are shown with their shows, especially if they are partners.

I wasn't over keen on Kava and surgical alcohol (mixed) but I managed to drink it when I had nothing else to drink. And believe me I was (or am, depending on which philosophy sect of A.A. you belong to) THE Most Worshipful Grand Master Of Dipsomania!
