Before and after an event requires time passing between them.

If space & time are joined & you remove space from the equation then you automatically remove time from the equation as well.

What is a cause without time?

How can we explain the meaning of a cause without the use of time in the definition.

To claim the universe had a cause is to claim that you have evidence that time existed before time existed.

More to come...

If we all just stipulated that God is outside of space-time and as such is unintelligible and ineffable we could move on to bickering over more important matters like just how much sherry should I put in Welsh rarebit?

"God is a metaphor for that which transcends all levels of intellectual thought. It's as simple as that." - Joseph Campbell
