England:

Brexit. The monarchy. Football worship. Tories.

I have a website here which discusses the issues and terminology surrounding religion and atheism. It's hopefully user friendly to all.

And I'm not so sure if the monarchy is all bad.

- 1/ the frenchs : if I were behaving like a french I would give you many reasons not to chose France and if you agreed with them, I would probably reverse my opinion just for the pleasure to contradict you and have a pointless argument about it.
- 2/ Paris : the place where you are the most likely to find a job, but the place I hate the most in France to live in : beside nice touristic (and crowded places), the rest is just ugly buildings, pollution, stress, and 2h/day of underground public transport
- 3/ countryside is nice, but then you're far from everything, it lacks culture and activities to do.

This sounds exactly like Toronto, except add at least an hour per day on to your commute time.

RE: Why shouldn't I move to your country?
I had a great conversation with a café owner in France. He wanted so badly to move to the U.S. I was incredulous as to why, he lives in the land of culture and art and food!

He said the French are too argumentative and contrarian for no good reason. And he also said they lie often!
Just funny to hear the same thing from another French person.
Sturm, are you the café guy? lol

My answer was taken (Don the Con)
But I will add:

Sports (specifically football) worship bordering on fanaticism. Sports figures literally get away with murder, a star HS athlete who rapes a girl will get sympathy, support and then people will blame the girl. Fucked up toxic masculinity.

WAY too many religious nutbags. Not generally an issue if they stay the F out of my life, but they have managed to coerce their way into government and legislation.

Health insurance and the fact that one bad illness/disease can throw you into bankruptcy and debt for your life and your children's lives.

Gun worship

Military and police worship. They can do NO wrong and overspending is never questioned and is somehow unpatriotic.
Nationalism is also tied into this.

Educational system. We put too much emphasis on testing/homework. Less on creativity and critical thinking.

... because it's full of muslims and the government is corrupt.
