RE: Why was today a good day thread
Went to lunch at Firehouse. Found out I had a free lunch for Veteran's Day. My 'customers' had the day off, so I didn't have to work hard. I already had my chores at home completed; lawn was cut, trash was emptied, had no supper to make, and even had time to play a video game. Today was a good day.

I've decided to focus more on the good things in my life.

I made an awesome meal for my famiy and my kitchen is thoroughly cleaned up.

I (so far) have power and heat despite the high blustery winds.

How do you feel about adopting a 28-year-old son?

If it helps any, I help in the kitchen and I mow the lawn. I don't do laundry though. I've been banned from that.

I completed Borderlands: The Pre-sequel. Banana_zorro

Best and worst of Ferdinand .....
Best

Worst
Ferdinand: Everyone from British is so, like, fucking retarded.

The current lack of endgame content in that game makes me really sad. Weeping

I guess Borderlands 1 and 2 didn't have much of that either until much later, but at least by the time I played those (that is, years after their initial release), there were already dozens of DLCs out.

Oh sure why not -- what's a few more boys to be surrounded by. Kitchen help is always welcome.

I completely understand about the laundry. Smile

Yesterday actually - husband won nearly $2,800.00 on a lottery ticket.

I didn't either. I had the flu. Would have preferred strep.
