Biology classes finally took place today after they had been canceled for the past four weeks or so.

Today I didn't even have to use my A.K.
I got to say it was a good day. |

RE: Why was today a good day thread
So far... I woke up which always surprises me. Wow, I'm still here... made some pre-decisions yesterday and confirmed them today; it is possible Iwill need an inverter, an inverter cable, and/or a bulb for my MacBook. Probably not the bulb, though.
Now, I just need to find someone to do the replacement & repair work for me. This might mean a trip to one or more of my favorite cities. Now, I will learn a lot more about this little tablet. So, hooray. Not a big hooray... but a small, complex hooray.
There is no shame in not knowing. The problem arises when irrational thought and attendant behavior fill the vacuum left by ignorance. ~ Neil deGrasse Tyson Perception is up for grabs, and truth seems to be the one precious thing, that no one wants anyone to find. |

![]() 'Cause I just finished that abomination I was translating!!! Time for some real-life socialising ('cause, you know, Johnny, I kinda like the details... of course, right now I like everyone and everything and can't stop grinning...), but not today and tomorrow. Today and tomorrow I'm switching off my brain and turning into a vegetable.

RE: Why was today a good day thread
Late last night (very early this morning) I found some articles online about my maternal grandfather...he was one of my favorite people. I also found this picture. It made me happy...he's been gone a long time and was quite a character in his day. He is in the middle.

RE: Why was today a good day thread
The first warmish day of 2013 in the UK today... went to the park with my sis and her daughter and spun her on the roundabout till she almost fell off.
"Spin me faster... faster... faster.... ARGHHHH STOP!!!!"
The same colour blood just pass through our veins and tears taste the same when they splash on your face. Cant separate and still carry the weight, gotta heal get away from the fear and the hate. Gotta shake free from them chains, you see what remains, just a human being at the end of the day. |

RE: Why was today a good day thread
After weeks of searching I finally found a back pack that fits me right.
Now with my new hikers I'm ready for Spring and can't wait to hit the trail.
