RE: Why was today a good day thread
I spent $207 at the butcher shop. Smile

I got 6 pounds or marinated boneless chicken thighs because they're just fucking awesome
A 6lb chuck roast
8 little packs of 8 slices of canadian bacon for breakfasts
Two nice NY steaks.
1 2.25lb flank steak
12 pork chops
4lbs of hamburger
8 slices of head cheese
4 slices of bologna
10 smoked brats
10 cheese and onion filled brats
Half pound of pastrami (kiddo requested it for breakfast tomorrow)
Quarter pound of smoked turkey

We spent so much they gave us a free huge summer sausage.

Yes it's a lot of money to spend at once but I've got around 3 months of extra meals.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Bought Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Illustrated. Perfect doesn't even come close to this mix of imagination and beauty. It's as close to magical I think anyone might get to.

It's much better in the original English. Yes

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Got to see my son play at Symphony Hall today, a completely amazing professional level performance. Also got to see a first for me, a conductor losing the baton backwards. The people in the front row seats had to duck!

Someone I know is going to pay me $100 to make some vinyl decals for her fundraiser. I designed them Saturday.

Awesome!

I am alive. Smile

Saw my dr who confirmed my recent illness is normal. The drug is simply very strong. Smile

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Glad to hear that your symptoms are just drug-related--but sorry that you're still feeling sick. Another day alive is a great thing!
