RE: Why was today a good day thread
Awful dreams last night, but daylight has slowly erased the reisidue.
Discuss, argue,or simply ignore. Personal abuse is a cop out. |

RE: Why was today a good day thread
Got the results of our top (hardest; most expensive etc.) course.
Months of hard work required by the students. Many drop out along the way. Everyone passed! There are 6 more ITIL Experts in the world (who will be looking to double their salaries now). It's only the second time in history that a whole class passed at this level. (and guess who was the trainer for the first time that happened?) Celebration pics here --> http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=5...=1&theater Edit: With regards to the recent thread about 'sharing vs. bragging'... yeah, both... whatever... bite me! The PURPOSE of life is to pass on our DNA (from Darwin) The MEANING of life is the experience of living (from Frank Herbert) The VALUE of life is the legacy we leave behind (from observation) |

I saw Comet PanSTARRS tonight. It's very low in the west after sunset; requires binoculars.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims. Science is not a subject, but a method. "We all got holes to fill, and them holes are all that's real; Some fall on you like a storm, sometimes you dig your own." |

RE: Why was today a good day thread
Today, may it go down in history, I have achieved something that very few people in this whole wide world have ever done and will probably ever do.
It represents the pinnacle of my year (and a bit) spent on TTA. It is something of which I had utterly given up hope. See here for evidence... http://www.thethinkingatheist.com/forum/...ble?page=3 post #21 I had a Ghost-like experience. I can retire now. RE: Why was today a good day thread
First day of spring break for my daughters. Every year I save all my change, then take the girls out and spoil the shit outta them. I am very frugal, but it's the one time of year I blow money on purpose. It works out well because my wife's birthday is this week too, so I splurge on a gift for her too. My one rule is I have to spend all the money.
This year I saved just under $400 in change. It's gonna be a fun day! |

Why was today a good day thread
Because this morning I worked up the nerve/motivation to start walking in the morning again. Also walked at lunch for a total 4.5 miles today.
Now...to maintain that motivation... |

Today is a good day because I am not at work.
